Diana Concert Details

PRINCES William and Harry have asked Andrew Lloyd Webber to make a late change to the Diana memorial concert and include his hit Memory.
They wanted the tune from the musical Cats to be included in a 20- minute medley of his hits because it was their mum’s favourite song.
Maria star Connie Fisher will now sing Memory — made famous by Elaine Paige — at the Wembley Stadium concert on July 1 on what would have been the 46th birthday of Diana.
Andrew said: “There was something missing — there was nothing from Cats and Diana loved it. William and Harry said loud and clear that they would like Memory and we cleared it with everyone and the boys are extremely happy.”
Connie, 23, who won How Do You Solve a Problem Like Maria to land the lead role in The Sound of Music, will be joined by Lee Mead, 25, who is about to hit the West End in Joseph after winning BBC1’s Any Dream Will Do. Incredibly, it will be the first time Connie has sung a Lloyd Webber tune in public.
Andrew said: “I think it will be wonderful that she can finally sing a Lloyd Webber song in front of 80,000 people in Wembley Stadium and eight billion people around the world.”
Popstar Anastacia will kick off the Lloyd Webber medley with Jesus Christ Superstar. Opera star Andrea Bocelli will sing the Music Of The Night from Phantom of the Opera, while Sarah Brightman and Josh Groban will sing All I Ask Of You.
